I did it before, I can do it again!
My husband has been a devote Keto advocate for nearly 2 years now. I think it will be two years next month. I thought he was crazy with this new style of eating…and with everything he does…he fully immersed himself and learned everything he could on the topic. Two years later, he still continues to consume more knowledge on the topic. It’s certainly not a fad in our house. It is a lifestyle change that has brought awareness and improvements to our family and our friends. The toughest part about this change, besides my closet eating, has been figuring out how to include our two children while still wanting them to be “a kid”.
Initially, I joined him on this Keto journey when he first got started as a way of supporting him. I did very well…not sure how I did it…but I managed to lose 50 pounds. I was feeling great about myself and my body and then I quit. I do that a lot. I’ve been sorta Keto only because my husband is still very focused. When I say sorta Keto, I eat LCHF breakfasts every morning with my husband and kids. Then the rest of the day consists of who knows what. Sometimes I snack while making the girls lunches for school or I skip meals all together because I get involved in a project.
